The ESTA Foundation / USITT Joint Training Initiative

It is the Vision of The ESTA Foundation / USITT Joint Training Committee to increase the professional knowledge and expertise of the entertainment technician through a continuing outreach program of regional training including both skill and product based industry related technical disciplines.

The Mission of The ESTA Foundation / USITT Joint Training Committee is to promote and facilitate regional training opportunities for the educational and /or professional advancement of the entertainment technician. 

To fulfill this mission, The Committee, through its Training Coordinator, shall:

• Develop, maintain and make available via the internet a comprehensive calendar of scheduled training opportunities available to the entertainment industry.
  
• Establish new fee based training events when needs cannot be matched to existing programs or when additional training needs are identified.
  
• Make training opportunities available to as many interested technicians as possible by selecting a wide range of times, dates and geographic locations for conducting both skill and product based training events.
  
• Fully utilize data resources of both the ESTA Foundation and USITT to identify potential students, suitable venues and qualified presenters for training programs.
